If connections have long names, the tab bar quickly fills up and we loose the overview. We suggest:
- Make it possible to resize tabs
- Add option "Distribute tab-sizes evenly" to resize all open tabs to the same size so they fit in the same window
- When a tab is made smaller, on mouse-over either show a balloon-tip with the full name - or - temporarily grow it to full size (sort of like moving the mouse over the app bar in MacOS where the selected icon is enlarged)
- Make an option so you can choose what part of the tab name is used when shrinking the tabs:
-- Use beginning (= cut off end and replace with ...)
-- Use beginning and end (= replace middle part with ...)
- Make an option so you can select a fixed size for all tabs created
