Reading the 2015 DB
#1
Hi,
We've recently upgraded ASG from 2012 to 2015 using database. In 2012 the tables were pretty clear structured so we used the data within ASG for querying and running scripts.

But after upgrading to 2015 that database is no longer easy to read and get information out of. Is there any way to get connection name information from the database and changing some data on all the servers with scripts? for example changing the tab color for all servers?

Regards,
Victor

Hi and good morning.
We introduced an new database-model in ASG-RD2015 for different reasons. So that's why you can't access the data in the same way as before. To fill that gap we introduced Power-Shell API to be able to connect by command-line /scripts. But this was first introduced with ASG-RD2016 ! In the integrated help (F1) you will find a new chapter "PowerShell API" that shows usable CmdLet's.
I wouldn't excpect that there is a similar way in Version 2015 before PowerShell was implemented, but I have to check that.
Best regards,
Michael
