Security Inheritance keeps overruling Personal values
#1
Hi,

Is this normal behaviour, did I do something wrong or is it a bug?

Situation
I'm just reinstalled my PC with Windows 10 build 1703 (insiderbuild 16278) and ASG 10.1.5713.0 (patch2)

Problem
When I have security inheritance enabled this always overrules my personal security values?

You choose the "active" category - Default / Inherited / Personal - and these values are used - all others will be ignored.

Hi Olivier,

I don't understand your answer ;-)
When I go to properties - Credentials - General, there is Something in the Inherited tab, Personal Values and Default Values (see screenshot)
But when I try to connect, it always uses the Inherited values and not the personal values...

If you have "Inherited" selected (orange color) these values should be used - like in your screenshot - the active data is always the category you have selected and saved - if you open the properties and select only in navigation tree on the left you see it automatically (by the color)
