Running in DB mode, get SQL error message BaseItemGet

Some of our users get a sql error message when starting ASG. If they wait before connection to a remote machine they dont get the error.

An error occured on executing an sql statement

Anyone seen this. We are currently on patch 2.

Seems to be a problem on Win 8.1 not running as administrator or running it in elevated mode.

We made some fixes in Patch3 - but not all issues seems to be fixed with that - I'm awaiting a customer db to reproduce
