NavigationBar filtering by #tag
#1
I suggest implementing a connections tagging support.

Recently implemented filtering support in the navigation bar is good, but it's not enough for those working with big number of connections. It requires remembering all the names or to use complex naming schemes. Instead, I would like to be able to associate one or more tags with each connection or connections folder and to use these tags with the navigation bar filtering feature.

For example:
Code:
#hamburg
would show me all the connections for machines in hamburg,
Code:
#exch
would show me all MS Exchange machines and
Code:
#linux
obviously brings all Linux machines, and so on.

More complex scenarios support such as
Code:
#linux and !#hamburg
or
Code:
#hyperv or #xen
would be nice feature to have too.

How about using Description field for that "hashing" - we can easily extend the search to description field in next version...

Perfect! Let it be the description field, if you can do it in the next version.

Question
I've upgraded to 2016 Patch 3. (9.0.5312.1).
It does not seem that tags support has landed yet.
I've tried adding different words and #words in description field of a server profile. Typing them later in NavBar filter brings no result.

Please update the status of this feature request.

In Settings you find a category "QuickSearch" - there you can activate description field for the search in the Navigation tree
