slow resonce withn doing FIND

Hello, 

Our environment is in the process of migrating to Windows 10 from Windows 7.  After installing the ASG Remote Desktop software, we are finding that doing a FIND for servers is slow.  I type a number and takes a second for each number to appear in my FIND bar and then display the results.   On WIn7, it was not an issue and displayed my typing results in a very fast manner. 

The following is the version of our client and using a remote SQL DB. 
ASG Remote Desktop 2012 Ver 7.3.41440.0

Any advise or suggestions you can offer to improve client response times?

Should be no difference on Win7 or Win10 - but version 2012 is quite old and should be updated to a newer version

Can I simply download the latest version and install it on my Win10 computer and point it to the same DB?

Good morning,

NO ! You have to create a new empty DB in ASG-RD 2018 and the run a wizard to import the 2012 database. They are not compatibel but you can easily migrate the data :-)
