ASG-Remote Desktop 2015 data into ASG-RemoteDesktop 2012
#1
Hello ASG

We would like to import data from one of our other ASG-RemoteDesktop 2015 to the below ASG-RemoteDesktop 2012. I understand that it’s not feasible because there is no backward compatibility. Could you advise us what should we do in order to export the data from ASG-RemoteDesktop 2015 into ASG-RemoteDesktop 2012?

Thank You

You can try to export servers via csv - and then change the format of the file like it is needed for version 2012 - but we do not support these versions anymore

Thank You for the quick reply.

Even with CSV export/import - the formatting seems to be different between the 2 versions. Hence the data has to be manipulated before importing into 2012.
And this will take quite a bit of time and is prone to mistakes.

Any other suggestions?

If we upgrade the version to the latest - I suppose it's 2020 would I be able to transfer the data over from 2015?

Thanks

No other possibility

And sure the data will be upgraded to any newer version - current version is 2021!
